Bragghost Pricing Explained - Knowledgebase

At Bragghost, we want our pricing to be clear, simple, and predictable. Here are a few key points about how our billing works:

Prices are flat and straightforward. We don’t use “new customer only” pricing unless it’s part of a clearly marked special promotion.
Whatever price you pay up front is the same rate your plan will renew at for hosting.

When you purchase (or transfer) a domain name along with a hosting plan, your domain registration is free for the first year.
After the first year, domains renew at the standard rate shown at checkout.
Renewal costs are typically the same from year to year, but domain prices may change occasionally.
If a domain expires and enters the redemption period, a special recovery fee (typically around $100) applies in addition to the renewal cost. This is set by the registry, not Bragghost.

Optional add-ons (such as SSL certificates beyond the Free & Auto SSL included with all hosting, or our Site Builder) may carry their own costs and renew on their own schedule, depending on when they were purchased.
You’ll always see the cost of an add-on before you purchase it.

All services are set to auto-renew by default, so you don’t lose your website or domain by accident. You can disable auto-renew at any time in your Client Area.
We always display both the first-term price and the renewal price at checkout before you complete your order.
Invoices are generated ahead of renewal and emailed to you, giving you time to review before payment.
Late payments may result in suspension of service and could incur late fees. Services may be terminated (and all content deleted) if payment is not made within 30 days of the invoice due date.

Hosting services come with our standard money-back guarantee (see Payment Policy for full details).
Domain registrations, transfers, and SSL certificates are not refundable, as these are processed instantly with the registry or certificate authority.

Flat pricing: No confusing “new customer” tricks.
Locked-in renewal rate for hosting: Your hosting plan renews at the same price you paid at signup.
Domains may vary slightly if registry pricing changes, but we always show renewal costs clearly at checkout and ahead of renewal.
Free domain for the first year with any hosting plan (including domain transfers).
Free & Auto SSL included on all hosting plans; premium SSL and other add-ons are optional.
Clear refund rules: hosting refundable under guarantee; domains/SSL are not.
