If you no longer need a hosting package, domain, or other Bragghost service, this article shows you how to cancel. It also explains what happens with your data, fees, and the cancellation process so you're fully informed before making your decision.

1) Log into your Bragghost Client Area

2) Go to the Your Active Products / Services, locate the product or service you wish to cancel (hosting plan, add-on, etc.), and click View Details next to that product.

3) Click the Request Cancellation button to the left of your screen under the Actions menu.

4) Fill Out Cancellation Form Request. The form will ask for your reason for cancellation. Cancel Domain Renewal? If your service has a domain registration associated with it, this option allows you the option to also cancel the auto-renewal on the domain. If you wish to keep the domain, do not check this box.

5) Choose Cancellation Type. Your options include:

  • Immediately — service ends right away (you may lose access/data).
  • End of Billing Period — service continues until your next invoice is due, then stops. 

6) After completing the form, click Request Cancellation to submit the cancellation request.

After you make the request, Bragghost will send you a confirmation (often via email) including a ticket or tracking number. Once confirmed, your service will be cancelled per your chosen option.

Important Notes & What to Expect

  • All fees accrued up until the cancellation date must be paid. No cancellation will allow skipping unpaid charges.

  • If you’ve prepaid for hosting, you may receive a prorated refund for remaining full months, less setup fees, taxes, and discounts—if you’re not in violation of any terms.

  • Domain renewals are billed 30 days before renewal — if the domain is already renewed, there's no refund.

  • Once cancelled, your data (files, emails, backups) may be removed/terminated. It’s strongly recommended you backup anything you’ll need before submitting cancellation.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

  • Can I reverse a cancellation request?
    Depending on the timing, you may contact support quickly after submitting to reverse it. But data restoration is not guaranteed.

  • What if I cancel at end of billing period instead of immediately?
    The service continues to work until the end date; no more charges post that period.

  • Will I get a refund if I cancel immediately?
    Refund depend on your plan, how much time is left, and whether your use complies with the Bragghost Terms of Service (no breach). Not all services/plans allow refunds.

  • How do I request a refund if it has been less than 30 days?
    Our 30 day money back guarantee only applies to individuals who have been customers within the last 30 days in accordance with our Payment/Refund Policy. You may request a refund by submitting a ticket to our billing department.
